Videonations began by offering custom-built audio-visual solutions across the UK, establishing itself as a leader in AV and video conferencing. As a valued part of Avoira today, it carries forward its reputation and expertise within our group.
Who Were Videonations?
Videonations was a UK-based company specialising in video conferencing and audio-visual solutions. Operating from Manchester and London, the company provided tailored AV systems to businesses across the UK. Videonations was known for its strong manufacturer accreditations and custom-built installations.
The company’s expertise extended to designing and deploying video conferencing rooms, digital signage, and collaborative meeting spaces.
Videonations Ltd worked with a range of clients, from small enterprises to large public sector organisations, delivering solutions that enhanced communication and collaboration.
In 2019, Videonations became part of Avoira, joining forces with other specialist providers to offer a comprehensive suite of communication solutions.
Why Avoira Acquired Videonations?
Avoira’s acquisition of Videonations Ltd was part of a strategic move to broaden its service offerings and enhance its expertise in the audio-visual sector. Bringing Videonations, Avoira could expand its AV offering to include video conferencing, digital signage, and collaborative meeting spaces. This was also when the full rebrand to Avoira happened, leaving behind the former name of Pennine Telecom.
The acquisition also allowed Avoira to leverage Videonations Ltd’s strong manufacturer accreditations and experience in delivering custom-built AV systems. It also worked well with other legacy businesses within the group, such as Co-Channel, Rocom, and Yellowbus.
Together, these companies now offer a complete, unified suite of communications solutions under the Avoira banner.
